I’ve always thought that the best ABC posters for kids aren’t the ones that simply familiarize them with the letters, but inspire imagination around the images themselves. We’ve found that very thing in Paula Prass’s lovely Alphabet Girl artwork.

Found at her shop Mimi’s Collection, which she runs with her daughter (cool!), this gallery wrapped canvas reproductions of Paula’s original artwork  is just plain cheery and fun to look at. And it’s available in a primary-colored Alphabet Boy version.

I’m not entirely certain that the letters have much to do with the accompanying imagery – unless the elephant carrying the ‘D’ on his trunk is actually Dumbo – but really, it doesn’t matter. The old fashioned clowns and seals and circus folk will get your kiddo smiling. And no creepy carnies. –Liz
