I have a confession: I have two children and I’ve never owned a crib.

As a co-sleeping family, we’ve never really needed one. But now I’m going to tell you about the most beautiful crib I’ve ever seen, by which I mean the one that’s making me think I want it if I ever have another baby.

Presenting the Luxo crib from Bloom. Sigh. Just look at it.

Soft, clean lines. Beautiful colors (it’s available in a pure coconut white or a striking white and cappuccino combination). And the clincher? With an add-on conversion rail, it becomes a sleek modern toddler bed for a child up to about age six.

I love this crib. I can’t help myself. It assembles without tools and folds up for easy storage so you won’t find yourself hunting for a specific missing screw when you need to bring it back out for baby number two. It’s MDF-free, formaldehyde-free, and painted with low-VOC finishes. And it’s gorgeous.

Oh, did I mention that already? Well, it is. –Stephanie

  1. this is so beautiful! It would be perfect with the nook mattress 🙂

  2. That looks like a really beautiful crib! And it is very handy that you can use it once the child is a bit older.
