I’m all about dressing my kids in festive attire when a holiday rolls around, but I prefer when I can put them in it well beyond that one special day. In other words, no “Happy Independence Day 2010” tees for us today.

What I do love though is this sweet summer
tank dress from Misha Lulu
, a CMP fave that’s known for their cool
fabric combinations and unique designs.

I’m big on the adorable retro graphics paired with the fun, bright skirt, making this summer beach dress a lovely change from the bright pink and
purple duds that are strewn about my daughter’s closet lately. I’m also
smitten with the diving tunic
with the cinched waist, which makes a stylish compliment to basic
leggings or skinny denim capris. And if you didn’t notice, both
pieces hail the patriotic colors without the flag motif overkill.

Go ahead, wear your red, white, and blue all summer long. You can when it’s as cool as this. -Kristen

  1. If I had a girl I would have bought this dress right now!
