When I planned my baby’s nursery, I obsessed over the furniture, color scheme, storage ideas, art, hamper, family photos, plus which toys to display and which ones to put away. I thought about everything, except what moms think about these days–how and where to go green.

Knowing what I know now, I might have splurged on organic sheets that keep the chemicals out of the crib, and spent a little less on other things, like that pricey knit dachshund. (We had a dachshund at the time, so I fell hard for this stuffed animal. I know, embarrassing.)

Some organic cotton sheets play a little fast and loose with organic guidelines, but we love Q
Collection Junior for creating products that hold up to the
strictest environmental standards.

Their 100% organic cotton crib sheets are beautiful, modern and seriously soft. And their new animal themed crib bedding called Animali, is the perfect combination of whimsical and elegant. The two color choices
are unexpected, but play well with others. I love the mix of safari
animals and I especially love that the animals have babies. (Aw…)

These crib sets aren’t cheap, but the quality is magnificent. And if you missed the chance to go green with your crib bedding, it’s available in twin sets too. –Elizabeth
