I am not shy about my dislike for baby shower games. When people ask, “So then what do you do at a baby shower party?” I wonder, well, what do you do at any party? Cool people, good food and drinks usually do the trick. But then I saw this adorable baby shower game as a part of a new set of baby shower printables and I thought…okay. That could be fun.
At Love vs Design, there’s a brand new set of free baby shower printables including these awesome baby Mad Libs, with a Western-themed design. Starting with “My name is [proper noun] and I’ve known the couple for [number] years…” I imagine a whole bunch of these from your guests would be a great keepsake in the baby book.
There are also printable baby congratulations cards, and while they lean a little on gender stereotypes (boys get dinosaurs and airplanes; girls get kitties and cupcakes) the design is really special.
But I think it’s the free printable new baby gift tags that really get me. Grab some card stock and twine and you’ll be set for life. You could even use some of them as cool little thank you notes if you’re the lucky mama-to-be.
And hey, if your friends threw you a shower at all, then yes, you’re a lucky mama-to-be. –Liz
