I look forward to Movember every year because my Viking husband looks deliciously scruffy while supporting men’s health awareness with a beard. But if you’ve got a mustache-loving kid in your life who can’t even sprout a few chin hairs, here are some adorable ways to get more ‘stache in your November.
Ah, so many mustache choices. The handmade shirts (above) by Pirates and Cupcakes on Etsy come in a variety of Movember-y favorites: The Villain, The Cowboy, The Ringmaster, and soon, The Santa. Just pick your mustache poison and tell the shop owner the color shirt and size you want, from 2T up to 14. She says they’re made for rough-and-tumble kids, with or without mustaches.
For the dapper mademoiselle or monsieur who needs to stay snuggy and stylish, this splurgey Le Marchand D’Etoiles sweater from Blue Carrot Boutique is designed in France and made of 100% alpaca on Mauritius Island for sizes 2T and 4T.
Our pals at Psychobaby are a great source for all things mustached. Whether you want an adorable sleep sack in gray and pink or gray and brown for tiny tots, an all-stache gift set with personalization for a baby, or just some hip stachery for an older kid, Psychobaby’s got it covered. They even have backpacks, bags, bibs, and pacifiers!
Not down for full-on stachery? Accent any outfit with this Mustache Webbing Belt from tuteesribbon on Etsy. It’s totally customizable from color to size, even for adults.
Simple, dapper, and super soft in 100% cotton, this long sleeve tee from French company Emile Et Ida is sophisticated and great for layering, even when Movember is long past.
It’s a moose. With a mustache. IT’S A MOOSETACHE SHIRT. And it’s from our pals at Red 21 Boys, which means it’s hip, bright, cozy, and available in tons of sizes for dudes. Or girls, because there’s nothing more powerful than a mama moose.
I love how this shirt keeps the mustache but adds an adorable whale. The Shave the Whales shirt from Deeana’s Designs on Etsy comes in pink or white and are pre-washed and pre-shrunk for kids’ sizes 4 through 16. Whale-sized razor not included.
And if you need to wash off that chocolate mustache, our pals at Method now have a special limited-edition natural and biodegradable Soap for Hope in their nice Botanical Garden fragrance. Method will donate a portion of proceeds to the company’s own Movember team and their fight against cancer. You can find Soap for Hope at their site and in your grocery store any day now and through April 2014. –Delilah
