A new pair of Christmas pajamas for babies (and kids!) is an annual tradition for so many families. Since I was a little girl, our own family gave a new pair of Christmas pjs every Christmas eve as the one gift we could open early. It always made those Christmas morning photo ops so much cuter.

But the thing is, not everyone wants to put their kid in an elf outfit. No judgments. But we thought we’d offer a few alternatives that are fun and festive and contemporary, and relatively low on the “you totally embarrassed us mom!” scale.

Santa Bot Robot Christmas PJs for kids

Right now, they have dozens of styles on sale — my personal favorites: the cool yeti pajamas for kids shown at top and these adorable Santa Bot robot Christmas pajamas. The sizes are limited (thus, the huge discounts) but all the designs are so great you’ll have no trouble finding something that works. (Order by 12/17 for Christmas delivery.)

Christmas pajamas for babies: Star Wars Fair Isle at Gap

Our big kids could not be more excited about The Last Jedi, so I think my best bet at getting them into matching PJs with the baby would be these fun Star Wars Fair Isle pajamas from The Gap. If they don’t have the size you need there, you can also try some of the Star Wars pajamas for kids at Hanna Andersson. Yay, options! Christmas pajamas for babies: Yeti romper at The Gap

This minimalist Yeti romper at Baby Gap is a great buy, because it’s cute enough for your baby to wear to your holiday outings while still doubling as a sleeper at night. And okay, so I clearly have a yeti thing going on this year. (Order by 12/19 for Christmas delivery)
