I’ll bet I’m not alone in my reluctance to haul around a stack of books in the event that my child might want to crack open one of them. I’m a mom, not a pack mule. So it’s no surprise that I’ve taken to the Reading Kaboodle from BODEMI.
Designer Boren Lon’s fashion background (with the likes of Ungaro and Dior no less) coupled with parenthood and a love of reading inspired her to create the Kaboodle. Folded it’s like a little carry-all for your kids’ favorite titles, and unfolded it’s a cushioned mat complete with pillow, turning almost any space into a comfy reading spot.
I love that kids can fold, unfold and carry the whole Kaboodle themselves. It might entice even the most accomplished young couch potatoes away from the TV and into the worlds of Madeline and Captain Underpants.
