My kids have had great teachers, and my kids have had terrible teachers. Reading 32 Third Graders and One Class Bunny, I found myself loving the great ones even more, and even feeling a bit more tolerant towards the terrible ones.
And then, of course, there was also the laughing.
Phillip Done’s tales from the elementary trenches are both heartwarming and hilarious. Teachers will recognize the (sometimes rueful) truths about wrangling kids for a living, and parents will enjoy this candid glimpse into just what goes on when your kid’s answer to “What happened at school today?” is an off-handed, “Nothing.”
