With my kids still completely obsessed with their age and name, I’m always on the look out for cool letter and number t-shirts that won’t break the bank. Who knew I could look no further than American Apparel for exactly what I’ve been looking for.
You don’t have to be a font junkie to appreciate the new Helvetica t-shirts (left) which are a great way to celebrate a kid’s name without necessarily draping their entire moniker on a shirt. Add the very cool color combinations and you’ve got one heckuva cool tee.
If you’ve got a birthday boy or girl in your house (or need an awesome gift for a lucky one), check out the Sesame Street number shirts (right) that are, by far, some of the cutest I’ve seen with the characters on them. With shirts for kids aged 1 to 6, these character t-shirts are a super cool ode to the iconic television show with an understated black line design
You just can’t beat the $12-14 pricetag on these shirts, which for some reason just makes them even more appealing than they already are. -Kristen

Oh, cute…I only wish my daughter was turning three instead of two, because I am digging on that orange/yellow combo!
