It was her very first ballet recital, and I wanted everyone we know to see her joyful smile as she hugged her first bouquet of roses. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to just give away our new custom photo cards from Shutterfly. I might just keep them all for myself.

[don’t miss the giveaway after the jump!]

I’ve never actually had photo stationery made — I know, shame on
me. But the options on Shutterfly are mind boggling.
Choosing from among the new 3×5 folded notecards collection alone is difficult, since there are a full 26 options, each with up to six photos, and
customized text too. I can’t imagine a better way to say thank you for birthday, communion, or Bar Mitzvah gifts than with
a big, toothy grin from the recipient.

There’s also a chic new 5×5
flat stationery collection
meant for announcing, inviting,or  seasonal greetings. But with prices starting at $1.29 each, I know
where I’m going for our first holiday cards. (Did I say first? You didn’t
hear that.)

I find the printing is on par
with or better than other photo services, envelopes are included, and the cards are
printed on eco-friendly cardstock. I wasn’t prepared
for the Shutterfly logo and information on back, but my husband was
charmed. “If we got one of these in the mail, and I saw that on back,
I’d go there and buy more,” he said. He stood by that statement even
after I explained that not all the cards include pictures of his
daughter in a tutu. -Delilah

  1. Thanks for the recommendation. I’ve been looking for a place to do custom cards for my son and keep going back and forth between several different places. Now I know where to order them!
