For years we’ve been putting together some of the best ideas for Valentines gifts for kids. So instead of making you do the work, we’ve dug through our archives for some of our favorite kids’ Valentines gift ideas that you can still order or make in time for the holiday.

You can also check our Valentines Day Board on pinterest for lots of cool craft and DIY ideas too.

To start, if they’ve been verrrrrry good kids, or have a Valentine’s Day birthday, we love the now red Mini Kick and Maxi Kicks. I own both and they get some heavy mileage up and down our driveway—a great way to get that heart pumping all year round.

{keep reading for the big giveaway from Kickboard USA and for more of our favorite gift ideas for Valentine’s Day}

Cover those wee toes with Trumpette’s Valentine Pixie Socks (at top) which are super sweet for the littlest ones who are too young to appreciate the wonders of dark chocolate.

If your baby would rather have something to gum, and you’d rather it not be a giant red lollipop, we love the ASL “I Love You” teether from Little Sapling Toys.

Wake them up to a big I Love You note on their wall with one of Wall Candy’s chalkboard heart wall decals. But, no reminders to make their bed, at least for that day.

Send them off to school with lunch packed in the organic and easy-to-clean lunch bag from Fluf. And don’t miss our great Valentines lunch ideas to make their meal extra special that day.

If your kids are anything like mine, they’d cover their arms in these cool Valentine’s tattoos from Tat.ly. At least they come off easily after the holiday.

With just a few minutes and some pink-and-red felt, you can whip up a few Valentine heart barrettes with this tutorial at purl bee.

Send them off wearing their heart on their sleeve—sort of—with this sweet, soft and comfortable I Heart Mom tee from Small Threads. Yeah, they can wear this any day they want as far as I’m concerned.

Search our archives under Valentines Gifts for even more ideas, free printables and cards for the classroom. And check out our Valentines Day Pinterest Board featuring lots of eye candy (and real candy!)

Congratulations to Julia L, winner of a red Maxi Kick scooter, and Dana G, winner of a pink Mini Kick scooter!

  1. These are some great ideas. The thing a kid would most like to get is probably a cell phone. Ideally you get the kid a prepaid phone, so that the bill does not run away with you. Tracfone has some great new smartphones at a low cost.
