I
love finding the best activities and spots to check out in my city.
When a site does all of the legwork and offers me a list of proposed
activities to check out each week, what’s not to love? That’s why I’m
digging the new site The Family Savvy.

An evolution of an old CMP favorite, Kids off the Couch, we are psyched to follow author Sarah Bowman on this new adventure around Los Angeles. Until they expand to a location near you, why not use this as a family-friendly guide on your next vacation to the City of Angels?

Family Savvy highlights destinations that are great for visitors, but also for long-time Angelenos. Sites like LACMA and The Getty Center are guaranteed crowd-pleasers for both kids and parents. There are also activities categorized by age to ensure that your 7-year-old won’t be whining “I’m boooooored” at a concert intended for the very wee folk.

The best part? All of this information is absolutely free. –Eva
