Tea Collectionโ€™s new holiday fashions = major kiddo cuteness

Iโ€™m finding it hard to believe that Iโ€™m already thinking holiday clothes for the kids, butโ€ฆyep. Already thinking holiday clothes for the kids. And since my children pretty much live in Tea Collection, itโ€™s always one of the first places I turn for affordable, adorable clothes that last. And last.โ€ฆ

And last.

So Iโ€™m thrilled that this awesome mom-run business is back as one of our sponsors (yay, Tea!), and that they gave me the chance to share some of my favorites from their new Nordic-inspired holiday collection. Iโ€™m not exaggerating when I say this may be my favorite winter collection of theirs yet.

[donโ€™t miss an exclusive discount on Tea Collection clothes for our readers after the jump!]

FOR GIRLS

I hardly even know where to start with the selection of wearable cotton dresses for girls. For something a little more traditional in color and style, the Flora Fest Twirly Dress takes a gorgeous crimson red and runs away with it. Plus, I hardly know a little girl who doesnโ€™t love a dress that twirls.

Teaโ€™s wrap dresses are always great investments because as your daughter grows, they make great tunics over leggings or jeans. I love the Juniper Wrap Dress that will look adorable at holiday fetes, but still make great school or weekend wear.

In colder climes, I bet any girl will get a ton of use out of this Sparkle Chic Sweater. The chunky weight but tailored styling is so cute over skirts or dresses, but great with casual leggings too.

Smocking doesnโ€™t have to mean stuffy. This Flower and Berry Smocked Dress takes a shirtdress style but makes it a little more dressy with beautiful detailing.

In the same style, I love the Superstar Smocked Dress with a funky star-patterned fabric. Pair it with denim jeggings and black boots for the day, or silver stockings and mary janes for a dressier look.
Yes, theyโ€™re splurgey, but wow Iโ€™m drooling over these girlsโ€™ Kicker boots that are new to Tea. With a pair of thick stockings or over-the-knee socks, I love how this classic Brit rock style is reinvented for the 21st century.

FOR BOYS

Every boy should have one great button-down shirt and I think this Brave Button Shirt fits the bill perfectly. That red is like the perfect red, isnโ€™t it? And the soft heavy cotton makes it a great layering piece over tees, too.

I canโ€™t resist little boys in vests and this Scandi Stripe Sweater Vest is a great stylish staple for the cooler months. Wear it in the classic fashion over a white collar shirt or a tee; or go funkier with a lightweight hoodie tee.

Iโ€™m not the type to get into shirts with reindeer or Christmas Tree motifs that you canโ€™t wear more than a day or two a year. But this Star Shirt? Totally festive and way more versatile. And that little red pop inside the collar makes me happy.

Yeti T-Shirt. Enough said.

Before the holiday invites hit, make sure your little man has one pair of pants that arenโ€™t jeans or casual cargos. A pair of Corduroy Pants are a smart staple that can be dressed up or down, and I love this one in a vintage wash thatโ€™s a wee bit more funky than your standard cord. (Although standard cords are pretty great too.)

While youโ€™re at Tea, you definitely donโ€™t want to miss the great sale section with lots of cute choices for boys and girls. They never fail to have fantastic discounts on clothes still in styleโ€“and now you know why my kids wear so much Tea Collection.

EXTRA COOL: Save 15% on all purchases, including sale items through 11/22/12 with code CMP15HOLIDAY. Canโ€™t be combined with other promo codes. And thanks so much to our sponsor Tea for always looking after our readers!
