We think you parents are really going to like this episode of Spawned with Kristen + Liz, in which we talk about moms and me-time and why we can’t ever seem to get enough of it, especially in the US. Also, what is wrong with us when we think taking a shower qualifies as me-time? Or when Liz gets a day off and thinks, “hey! I can organize the bookshelves!” Nope. No way. We’re moving to Denmark where they get a ton more free time on average each day and we can watch more Netflix and read more books.

Then, for our main topic we take on the topic of kids and cursing. What the F*$k is with that?

Here we learn allllll sorts of surprising things about each other, our kids, and our own rules at home. While most parents aren’t exactly encouraging the kids to let F-bombs fly at school or church (or even at home), we found out that not all cursing is the same, and hey, it’s not even all bad. In fact there are some really surprising studies about the benefits of cursing.

(Not that we expect you to share them with your kids.)

So, where do you draw the line? Do you punish your kids for cursing? Are some words allowed but not others? Can your kids say Oh my God? And are they learning all kinds of stuff when you’re not around that you don’t even know this week? (Speaking of which, how did Liz’s brother learn the F-word when he was three?)

We think you’ll enjoy this very fun, and definitely R-rated, episode of Spawned.

We’ve even got a surprise bonus if you stick around to the end. You know, like the cool Pixar after-the-credits scenes? Only funnier.
