Now that we’re deep in the heart of summer, I find my kids like cooling down in the afternoons with some crafting time, and free printable coloring pages for kids often do the trick. Whether you’re passing time, celebrating a summer birthday, going screen-free on a road trip or just delighting in all those mornings your kids wake up with the sun at 5:15 AM and need something to do besides waking you — I put together some of the coolest free printable summer coloring pages I’ve seen around the web, for kids of all ages.
Did I mention they’re free? Yup. All of them. Yes!
There are 18 free coloring pages in total, from original work from talented artists and children’s book illustrators, to favorite Disney characters your kids just mayyyyy recognize.
My own kids like to turn coloring projects into puppets, cut them out and paste them on other things (like walls or each other), make cards, create DIY placemats or just stick them on our front door to welcome guests. In other words, I can never throw any of them away ever. You too?

Note: We knocked out some of the heavy branding on some of these pages for our kids with a quick edit in PicMonkey — just use the “draw” tool at the bottom of the “effects menu,” and white-out any type you’d rather not have cluttering up the page.
