We’ve always been big fans of building sets for kids, especially for holiday gifts. Because we’ve found over the past decade or so of parenting, that that they really do give you a whole lot of bang for your buck.
Building sets are fun (obvs!), they help develop creativity and imagination, they promote all kinds of skills, and hey — we love that they keep kids busy for hours, without any screens involved.
The way we see it, the benefits make it totally worth stepping on a building bricks or two with our bare feet in the middle of the night. Ha.
