Handstitched and cool – two words that perk up our ears at Cool Mom Picks. So it’s not surprising at all that we’re enamoured of 60 Bugs, a website whose tagline is, appropriately, handstitched coolness.
Designer Debbie Lee hand-embroiders bibs, pillowcases, and tees, but this isn’t your grandmother’s embroidery. She’s got a rock ‘n roll sensibility and leans towards designs like the drum kit or crybaby mixed tape shown here. She’ll even customize a line or two on the piece for you.
It’s the perfect way to show your child that you are, and will always be, his number one groupie. –Liz
I buy embroidery transfer kits from Sublime Stitching all the time & make bibs, etc. for my kids. I know Jenny makes a pattern called “Rock & Roll.” In fact, these look an awful lot like it.
The URL is https://www.sublimestitching.com/ for other DIY crafty moms.
ETA: Yes, I see that that is in fact the R&R pattern from Sublime Stitching. There are reciprocal links so we can travel back & forth bewtween the sites. Yay for the crafty!
In the spirit of disclosure, yes, Debbie does credit Sublime for her patterns. Nothing sketchy going on at 60bugs.
However there are plenty of us (ahem, cough cough) who are NOT in the least handy with a needle, and will glady pay a premium for those of you craftychicks to hand-embroider something spectacular for us.
