Boodalee. Colorful and imaginative, they’re simple enough for a toddler’s room, but modern and hip enough to last through those tween years or even beyond, particularly with the trees collection. The bright circus print (shown here) is a great match for both boys and girls. And thanks to the unique printing process on 250-thread count 100% cotton, they really are colorfast. Phew.I can’t be the only mother who’s tired of seeing the same old themes for kids’ rooms, especially when it comes to bedding. Not all boys want a sports-themed room, and not all girls want a ballerina-themed room. Licensed characters are even more limiting – they go in and out of style quicker than boy bands and that’s saying something. It’s no wonder I love the sheet sets from mom/graphic designer Jeanice Skvaril’s company,
Personally, I like the city print well enough that I might have to ask Boodalee if they’ve got any plans for king-size sheet sets in the making. Hey, why not? I’m still a kid at heart. –Julie [thanks, Amy!]
