I’m not quite why I never think to shop Zara for kids. I’ve been shopping there myself for years, but it never crossed my mind to check out their selection for little people until wardrobe stylist (and mom) April Johnson, suggested it to me recently.
I figure, hey, she’s dressed Julia Roberts and Ryan Reynolds; she can certainly find something cute for my girls.
If you’re not familiar with Zara,
they make crazy affordable, decently made clothes with European styling. And fortunately, they go from 0-14 so
you moms of bigger kids and tweens are in luck.
Especially considering how much of it is on sale for 50% off or more right now.
A quick glance reveals a sweet navy striped dress down (at right) to $12.99. A fab looking poly-cotton checked jacket for boys (or funky girls) just $7.99. Even adorable baby and newborn clothes at prices that are pretty hard to believe. I’m so psyched to grab a bunch of things in next year’s sizes for summer 2012.
The only drawback: Zara doesn’t retail online. Argh. Hopefully they’ve
got a Zara near you. I think it would be worth the trip. –Liz
