We’re jealous Heather! Sounds like a great time is ahead. Now the good news (besides the fact that you’re going on a cruise) is that this time of the year you can find lots of last year’s summer dresses at deep discounts. The hard part is that sizes
will be very limited, but we’ve done some of the legwork to bring you dresses that will look great on your warm-weather vacation.
Chasing Fireflies has a lot of summery clothing on sale right now and while some
of their sale prices are still in the high range, you can find some nice deals.
I love this versatile Spring Silk Skirt for $19.99 in a size to fit any
of your girls. Their Breath of Spring Dress (shown at top) is also pretty and not
too fussy.
A couple of the dresses from Lola Et Moi’s clearance area may be just what you need for your trip. For a cooler night, the
Grey Elegance Dress pictured above is gorgeous and normally retails for far more than the $50 sale price.
Modern Moppet has some nice choices, although the sales area is a
bit picked over. But one of my favorite dresses by Glug is just over $20 in
a size 6. The Hanji Floral Dress by Tea Collection looks so easy to wear and is very
pretty.
If the words “Final Sale” don’t scare you away, J. Crew always has some sweet
things for girls, like this striking Cotton Ruffle Skirt Dress, or the playful Silk Bubble Skirt. And we also love the spin-worthy Sophie Catalou Hot Pink Twirl Skirt at The Red Balloon.
