I spent my entire morning browsing the modern Swedish design shop for kids, barnvanligt, and not even the beautiful spring day was been able to tear me away. While the organic cotton robot pillows (below) sucked me in, I think what I need most in the world right now are the ABC paper cups Genius! They’re like beverage holder, party decor, and preschool-appropriate entertainment all at once.
Each box evidently comes with 30 vibrant cups made of recycled paper, including all the letters and two hearts–although that math doesn’t quite add up. Who knows, maybe there were two more letters added to the alphabet when I wasn’t looking.
While until recently they were only sold all the way in Korea where, you can now pay in Euros (12,52 to be exact) or Swedish Krona. Okay so yeah, that’s a small fortune to pay for paper cups. Have your European expat friends grab you a bunch and bring them on their next visit. Don’t you have a ton of those? –Liz
Find these ABC paper cups and beautiful art, decor, furniture and kids’ clothing at barnvanligt.
Update: Etsyian Fort and Field, here in the US, carries the ABC paper cups too!
Shipping is a flat rate of 79SEK (about $10US) to Europe for all parcels under 2K, and they’re kindly offering the same for North American shoppers – just choose “Europe Small” at checkout. So buy a bunch and make it worth it!
Now I’ve spent time looking at a website full of pretty stuff that I want. Yet, I can’t seem to read a thing.
Thanks Liz.
Oh…I just saw the little button that changes it to English. Whoops. 😉
I am LOVING the barnvanligt site but I am not seeing how we can order anywhere other than if you live in Europe. Can anyone see where I can order and have it shipped to Canada?
Thanks!
Hi Betty, give the address a try and see if they can accommodate you: info@barnvanligt.nu
Good luck!
If anyone is looking for the abc paper cups, I just started carrying them in my shop…
