Each year it gets harder and harder to pick our favorite clothes and accessories for kids, as we get introduced to more and more cool brands. Here are our top picks that make us wish for more closet space!
Handmade baby booties always make us yearn for babies to give them to, but the ones from Funky Shapes in the UK (at top) almost make me want another myself. –Liz
I’m enthralled by the unique patterns from the Bohemian inspired Rikshaw Design. I just can’t wait until the warm weather gets here! -Kristen
Yes I’m biased, but I really love the Breukelen onesie from local shop Brooklyn Yard. I’d imagine that the ye olde Dutch spelling isn’t going to make any top baby name lists any time soon. –Liz
Boys Clothes
Ferd hooks little boys up with fancy clothes that make them look cool, not ridiculous. How can you not love that? –Liz
Red21Boys has renewed my hope in finding cool boys clothes that hold up over time and won’t rob you blind. Score! -Kristen
Girls Clothes
The new line of organic cotton dresses for girls from Scout Organics is so comfy and play-ready, I find I’m putting my girls in them the second the laundry is done. –Liz
I was impressed with Stella McCartney’s kids line for Gap this year–the unique shapes and gorgeous patterns made them look high fashion without the runway prices. -Kristen
For sleepwear, I’m giving a shout-out to the new Kideco Pajamas which are comfy and thick, and still look as good after the 57th washing. –Liz
Kids Shoes
The Dr. Seuss Chuck Taylors from Converse are so fabulous, we put them on The Today Show. –Kristen
I was so happy to discover the adorable canvas mary janes from Cienta this year. They powered both of my girls through an entire summer of sandboxes, soccer games, and sun. –Liz
Accessories
Ann Moore’s beautifully knit microphone scarf is one of the coolest tween gifts I could imagine, maybe from her coolest aunt? –Liz
So glad that Baby Legs added an adorable newborn line, just in time for my wee one. They’re perfect for those early days when nothing fits and you’re trying to avoid the belly button. -Kristen
The new felt headbands from accessory maven Giddy Giddy incorporate two of our favorite trends: cameos, and girls who don’t have hair in their eyes. -Liz+Kristen
