Hooking your boys up for summer, for less

With the official start of summer only two weeks away and the warm weather already here in my neck of the woods, I’ve been sifting through my son’s clothes from last season and realizing that ack, he needs a whole lot for this year’s summer wardrobe. Darn kids, why do they grow so quickly?

One of my first stops on the web for boys’ clothes has always been Red 21 Boys, whose stylish, sturdy duds have withstood more than a season’s worth of beating up from my active son. My son loves the comfortable waist and I love the drawstring; no more reminding him to pull up his bathing suit all day long. Pair it with this solid orange rash guard and you can keep track of him on the beach, and keep him a little more protected as he plays in the sun.

As if astronauts could get any cooler, now they rock out in this Astronaut Ringer tee, made from super soft pre-shrunk cotton.

Boys' treasure map swim trunks from Red 21

Such a fun twist on the pirate motif with these Pirate Treasure Map swim trunks. I’m a fan of the cut of these and really, all of their swimsuits, which are especially suited to my skinny little boy.

If you’re digging the pirate theme, I also love this Ahoy Matey ringer complete with this year’s popular mustache motif. I know that would get a ton of use around here.
