MacLaren shark stroller: Dangerously cute | coolmompicks.com

Yes, it’s a few weeks until Shark Week, a much-awaited tradition around these parts, but I couldn’t wait to share this awesome shark stroller that one of our eagle-eyed staffers spotted around Brooklyn this week.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the baby boutique, check out the MacLaren Shark Stroller, which is one fierce bit of baby gear. It’s got all the fun of a design by British neo-pop artist Philip Colbert — modern art fans might recognize his fried egg BMW — plus the features you’d expect from a Maclaren stroller, including a shark teeth printed raincover and reclining seat.

(If you’re going to stroll around town in the gullet of an oceanic predator, might as well lie back and enjoy the jealous stares from other kids.)

Of course the stroller also offers tons of safety features, like a height adjustable 5-point harness, foot breaks, and lockable front swivel wheels. Because yo, we’re parents; we only want our babies to look like they’re living dangerously.

Find the MacLaren Shark Stroller on their website, or purchase at boutiques like Magic Beans and Albee Baby, or chains like Buy Buy Baby and Toys R Us.
