Ever since I had to have my eyelash extensions removed (RIP – seriously, I loved those things), I’ve been on the hunt for a mascara that would give me the same amazing lash length that I had with the extensions. That’s not as easy as it sounds considering most mascaras end up on my face after an hour or two, or are waterproof and require ridiculous amounts of make-up remover. Enter Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions mascara, which is my new fave.

I’m already a big tube mascara fan, as you might know from my raving review of Kevyn Aucoin’s The Volume Mascara which I still totally swear by. In fact, it’s my other go-to when I’m looking for volume over length. But what Thrive Causemetics does is really give me super long lashes. Like eyelash extensions long.
Similar to other tube mascaras, you simple remove by gently rubbing warm water over your lashes. Pro tip: Do not be tempted to pull off the tubes because surprise, your lashes will come off with them.
And hooray. The Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions mascar totally stays put. No raccoon eyes or smudges on my face.
I will say that if you like super thick lashes, you probably will want something else, because this is definitely much more about length. And yes, it’s comparable to designer-type brands in terms of price (aka expensive), but for me, it’s been totally worth it.
