I feel like I’ve seen a lot of the same-old sneaker trends recently — florals and metallics are back. Not that there’s anything wrong with it. But this year, when we all started to see lots of tie-dye sneakers for our older kids, we got kind of excited. The styles range from colorful and bright to tone-on-tone, and they’re such a fun way for kids to express their personalities this fall. At least from the ankles down.
Here are my five favorite tie-dye sneakers for back-to-school this year to help give our kids one more reason to get up and dressed each weekday morning. We can use all the help we can get!

These tie-dye Converse low tops are a fun twist on a classic look. The bright colors are on trend for tie-dye sneakers, while the converse style is an easy, comfortable style for school.
These Superga tie-dye sneaker are a great way to stay on-trend in a more neutral color scheme. I love the denim look, and they’ll go with most everything in your teen’s closet. Hey, you can even steal them in your size — Superga sneakers are so stylish for adults too.

I tend to think of tie-dye as showcasing bright colors, but these Keds triple-kick tie-dye sneakers are on trend in a dreamy, watercolor pastel palette that works nicely for fall. These will look fantastic with black jeans, denim jackets, or brightly colored sweaters to pick up the yellow and orange.
If you’re looking for bold, unapologetically stand-out shoes, these Nike Tanjun tie-dye sneakers are the ones for your kid this school year. Even my more fashion-conservative kids are loving these kicks.
If you want an understated on-trend tie-dye sneaker look, these Nike black and white tie-dye sneakers are perfect. They’re terrific with jeans and a tee or a button-up for school, but they’d also look cute with a fun skirt or flippy dress at a school dance.
I really love the blue tie dyed sneakers for myself! LOL Really. I used to love wearing white canvas sneakers with jeans but our new puppy insists on WALKING ON MY FEET! White ones get dirty really fast with paw prints on them. Tie dyes are definitely worth a try. Thanks for the great idea.
