As a new mom, I rejected backpack style diaper bags for more fashionable (and, occasionally less comfortable and user-friendly) options. Yes, I did think the heavy leather tote with no shoulder strap was a good idea…for a minute.
But, while I traveled from Asia to the US with a two year old, I became an instant convert to the Be Right Back backpack diaper bag from Ju-Ju-Be. And now that they’ve partnered with Tokidoki and Sanrio, their bags are more full of more fun and pop-culture than ever.
Because, rainbows, Hello Kitty, unicorns, and sushi, you guys!

Let me just say, I had no idea I could feel as passionately about zippers as I do, now that I’ve carried a Ju-Ju-Be bag.
These are heavy duty zips that slide so smoothly. It’s not life-saving stuff, but when your hands are full of dirty diaper and you need a wipe now, a bag that opens easily makes a difference.
Plus, the linings are antimicrobial. Which is nice when you don’t remember the dirty diaper that’s stashed in there until the next morning.
But these fabrics are so fun, there’s no reason to limit the bags just to your baby years. My tweens would love this style for their own backpacks, and I know they’ll last forever. Especially because I hope they never outgrow a love of unicorns.
We’re swooning over the new Ju-Ju-Be backpack diaper bags and regular backpacks featuring Tokiodoki prints like Be Sporty: Rainbow Dreams, Be Packed: Sushi Cars, and Be Right Back: Hello Friends at our affiliate Amazon or at the Ju-Ju-Be website. And yes, you can mix and match the styles and prints any way you’d like.
PS…
Liz got a sneak peak of the new Tokodoki bags and accessories at this year’s Toy Fair. Check out the cool California Dreamin’ Mermicorno handbag (yes, MERMicorno!) and the California Dreamin’ Heart Window Backpack. Plus, cute coin purses featuring Jellycat, Diamante, and Mermicorno too.
They’re not made by Ju-Ju-Be, but they are pretty awesome. Find them at the Tokidoki website.
