Sometimes it’s hard for my kids to talk about their feelings. In the heat of the moment, they find it a lot easier to cry (or let’s face it, whine) than to confront their emotions.

As the child of a child psychologist, I am always on the lookout for great books to help me make my job a bit easier in that respect, and I’ve found a nice solution with this smart book and accompanying journal

A Little Book About Feelings is
eye-catching in a major way. The main characters are funky, hand-made
felt creatures, like little Etsy wunderkinds. The text is
simple and clean. It is the perfect segue into the accompanying
workbook, My Feelings Activity Book. This journal for your future Moleskin lover will let you have so much fun filling in the prompts with the kids. Best, it will encourage lots of
conversations about what’s on your child’s mind.
Okay, I’m not going to lie. I was tempted to fill out a couple of pages on my own. Sharing is caring, right? -Eva
A Little Book About Feelings and My Feelings Activity Book are available at The Mother Company.
