At long last, the much coveted and beloved Hunter Boots have come to Target and I am here for it! I am not only here, I am stomping my feet in stylish puddle-jumping preparation.

(Seriously, I love my classic Hunter Boots so much, I sometimes slip them on just because it’s easy, not because it’s raining.)

It’s not just boots either; starting April 14 (they moved the date up from the 18, yay!) you’ll find all kinds of outdoor goods for babies, kids and adults, with all of the items between $5 and $80, and most under $30, uh…well, I paid a little more for mine. So this could potentially be the most exciting Target partnership since Missoni.

The styling looks terrific, with bright on-trend colors, fun patterns, and various boot heights (like these ankle rain boots for toddlers), along with cool jackets (OMG that hooded trench coat!) and Hunter accessories of all kinds including from travel gear to visors (eh) to bubble umbrellas, some camping gear and coolers, and oddly — though kind of interestingly — a neoprene beer koozie.

Excuse me…that’s, Hunter beverage cooler.

I am just hoping that the quality is even close to what I get from my original wellies, which have served me well going on six years or so.

Hunter Boots and other Hunter outdoors wear coming to Target! | Sneak peek at Cool Mom Picks

Unfortunately you have to wait until April 14 until Hunter-crazed crowds storm the aisles of Tarzhay for wellies, backpacks, outerwear, and interestingly, Hunter pool slides — but you can order from the website that day as well.

Here are a few things that have caught my eye that you may want to bookmark:

My picks, in addition to that amazing trench coat include every single one of the Hunter for Target bags, from colorful backpacks to “bum bags” (yeah, they’re updated fanny packs) to duffels and totes. There’s a very wearable zip-front sleeveless dress (also in plus-sizes for the curvy gals, as are most of their adult clothing!); a unisex dipped canvas high-top in four colors which are all smart for a might-be-a-rainy-day; men’s slide sandals in solids or stripes.

Hunter for target rain boots for men and women, just $40!

And of course, the Hunter for Target women’s classic high top rain boots or men’s rain boots in your choice of 6 colors. All just $40. YES!

Hunter for target oversized navy tote

Oh, and did you catch that navy Hunter tote bag in the family photo? I’ve been thinking about it since I first saw it here. The total damage: $35. Wow.

So yeah… I’m in.
