We recently alerted you to the upcoming launch of Bezar, a new members-only marketplace from Bradford Shelhamer, one of the original founders of Fab. We knew we’d be able to expect the same phenomenal design sense, curation and discovery that we’ve come to know and love from him, and checking out the Bezar site launch today, it does not disappoint.

Because this is a member’s only site, use our invitation link for immediate access right now to some wonderful designers who will be gone in a few days, along with some cool pop-up shops that will last a bit longer.

You’ll notice there’s definitely an urban, whimsical, vaguely gay male esthetic about the curation — think Jonathan Adler. Some of it is a little campy, and for very particular taste, like a$635  Seletti see-no-evil chimpanzee candelabra; but mostly I’m seeing some impressive modern design that makes for fun browsing and inspiration if nothing else.

Art of Sport reinterprets sport team logos as modern art prints. Here: San Diego Chargers

I’m really taken with Art of Sport, which reinvents team logos from NFL and MLB teams to soccer clubs across the pond, all as graphic, modern art prints. (San Diego Chargers shown here. Get it?) It’s like a cool way to compromise if you have a sports fanatic in the house but can’t stand the idea of hanging pennants over your bed as an adult. I speak from experience here.

Tom Dixon diffusers and candles at Bezar: Fantastic hostess gifts

Tom Dixon beat table lamp at Bezar

There are high-end diffusers and candles from British design brand Tom Dixon which make splurgey hostess gifts, plus some amazing desk lamps from the brand that are spendy but, oof. Be still my modern design-loving heart.

And then, there are great accessory finds, like Nervous System, who we’ve raved about here before for their cool jewelry which blends art, science, and technology.  All the pieces are based on patterns found in nature.

Necklush skinny scarves in fantastic colors for spring and sumer

Love seeing long-time favorite Necklush here too, with exclusive designs not in their Etsy shop and some colors that are just perfect for updating your spring and summer wardrobe affordably.

Knotty Girls bracelet on Bezar | 15% supports girls' education

Knotty Gal jewelry: Gorgeous gifts that give back to support girls' education

Knotty Girls Under the Sea Necklace at Bezar

But my favorite find of all might be Knotty Gal jewelry, which makes really spectacular modern pieces, then donates a portion of sales to benefit girls’ education in Bangladesh. Their necklaces and bracelets in particular are standouts and uh, let’s just say one of these is likely to end up in my own jewelry box soon.

What’s really special about Bezar is what was special about Fab when it first launched–you’ll find the kinds of items you just don’t see everywhere, and sometimes, the kinds of things you can’t even find in the U.S. But I will say that this isn’t a discount flash sale site where you’ll get like 70% off the things you’re coveting.  However there are some discounts on the site for many of the items, and while not necessarily massive, they definitely give me a little more incentive to click “add to cart” when I fall in love with a gorgeous statement necklace from oh, say, a company called Knotty Gal. For example.

Use our invitation link to join Bezar today, for members-only access to great design and daily pop-up shops. Also, for every person you invite who makes a first purchase, you’ll receive a $10 credit to your account.
