Every kid doesn’t deserve a trophy. But they might deserve a merit badge.

This is a new take on the old idea of positively rewarding your kids. It’s 2017. It’s a new type of merit badge.

These cool merit badges from Perfectly Smitten reward kids for gooddoings this summer.

Your kid may not be in Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts or the National Honor Society. But I still love this new take on old school merit badges by The Honor Society. It’s simply a collection of badges that encourage kids to do good, be good, and live good lives that you dole out as you see fit.

In other words, merit badges can be a way to reward all that do-gooding your kids will be doing this summer, especially for those of you who want an alternative to screen time as a reward.

Let’s face it, mastering the art of life at any age is no small feat. So the thing I think I love most about these merit badges is how they help to encourage traits like Bravery, Honesty, Kindness, Resourcefulness.

These are skills that go beyond one-time assignments; they’re inspirations! They tell our kids that they can be our own personal heroes as they change the world, one good deed at a time. And that’s a powerful thing.

Oh, and did I mention they look pretty neat ironed onto a backpack or a jacket?

The collection merit badges from The Honor Society retail for just $7 and are sold exclusively at Perfectly Smitten.
